  • BOARD CHAIRMAN

    Rev. Richard Thong

    Richard is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, Malaysia, and is the Senior Pastor of Grace Assembly KIang since 2013. His journey in ministry started in 1977, working with people who were addicted to drugs, to those who were in prison as well as for those released. He did pastoral leadership training in Christchurch, New Zealand in 1990, and upon return, entered into pastoral ministry with Grace Assembly Petaling Jaya. His ministry involvement includes serving the poor and needy in the community, such as the homeless, the destitute and orphans. Together with his wife, they are both engaged in the counselling services for pre and post marriage, for healing and restoration.

    Rev. Dr. Lim Siew Pik, PhD

    Siew Pik is an ordained minister of AG Malaysia. With many years of experience in national leadership roles, she has served as a pastor, communicator and more. Alongside her institutional leadership responsibilities, Siew Pik also teaches, trains, and mentors emerging leaders while supervising doctoral students. Her areas of interest and teaching include leadership development, mentoring, intercultural ministries, biblical studies, and practical theology. She holds three degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary in the USA and is a ScholarLeaders International Fellow. Siew Pik's PhD on religious leadership, which combines studies in leadership, anthropology and theology, earned her Fuller's Leadership Award in 2014.

    Rev Dr Joseph R, PhD

    Joseph ministered in the Assemblies of God of North India as a missionary sent from Tamil Nadu, a southern state of India. His missionary work included planting and pastoring churches, and teaching in AG Central Bible College, New Delhi. He did his MDiv in Southern Asia Bible College and MTh (Old Testament) in South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies in Bangalore, India. He is passionate about bringing forth biblical truths through an exegetical approach for the total development and transformation of people. Hence he is interested in life-coaching with biblical values. He has a PhD in Philosophy & Religious Studies from Andhra University, India.

  • DEPUTY ACADEMIC DEAN

    Collene Lim Pek Sim, MA Pastoral Counselling

    Collene graduated with a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counselling from AOIC in 2021. She has since been serving in the counselling ministry at her church and with Emmanuel Community Care. She also previously served as the Counselling Program Coordinator in AOIC, desiring to contribute towards equipping and raising up Christian counsellors in the country. Her passion for people helping is expressed through her years of ministry among children, youths and adults in the church and community, in various leadership capacities including cell group leader, youth adviser, young adult adviser, women's ministry leader and deaconess. She had worked as an economist in Bank Negara Malaysia, having a Master of Arts in Economic Policy degree from Boston University, U.S.A..

  • DEAN OF COUNSELLING STUDIES

    Dr. Yeo Pei Li, PhD

    Pei Li has been a licensed counselor with Malaysia's Board of Counselors since 2003. She specializes in career guidance and counseling, trauma work, as well as couple and family therapy. She has also been involved in various educational institutions since 2004 in the capacity of a student counselor, senior lecturer, and trainer. Her doctorate is in counselor education and supervision from Regent University, USA.

  • COUNSELLING PROGRAM COORDINATOR

    Rosanne Voon, MCC

    Rosanne graduated with a Masters in Christian Counseling degree from Torch Trinity Graduate University, South Korea, in 2021 and has since been helping her clients. She is an active member of her church, serving children, college students, and young adults, and in the teaching ministry, being a trained teacher with a bachelor's in education degree from the University Putra Malaysia. She is passionate about helping people live transformed lives through biblical truths and emotional awareness and advocating mental health among Christians.
